Fever Induced Seizure What Does It Mean When Your Child Bites And Chews His Cheeks And Tongue Severly.

What does it mean when your child bites and chews his cheeks and tongue severly. - fever induced seizure

My son at age 18 months, he began to gnaw the tongue and cheek of the night. Chew until the bleeding and ulcers in the mouth. The first night I've realized that I could not stop. I slept deeply, open eyes, or simply in a different world. He had recently introduced a fever-induced seizure and did not know if it is tied to chew this crisis. They told me it was good, but I epilepsey both sides of the family. Can anyone tell me if these symptoms are connected.
